Welcome Kindred SpiritsRooted in the rhythm of the seasons, I craft with willow, broomcorn, and other natural materials to create pieces that are both beautiful and useful. Each basket and broom is shaped by hand, guided by tradition, intention, and the living character of the materials themselves. Here you’ll find workshops, handmade pieces, and inspiration for your own creative path. Step into the rhythm of nature, and let the art of making unfold.
Woven with intention
Basket Weaving
I wove my first basket and never looked back. There’s something magickal about working with willow. The way it bends, the subtle earthy scent, and the rhythm of hands and materials coming together.I especially love weaving an extra layer of magick by carrying an intention into each basket, letting it grow as the weave takes shape.Basket making has become more than a craft for me; it’s a journey of patience, creativity, and connection with nature.
Handmade Magickal Tools
BroomCraft
Broomcraft has always intrigued me, and once I started down the witch path, I knew I had to learn it.From selecting the perfect wood for the handle, to choosing twine and designing the weave, every step of the process invites magick and intention. Each broom becomes more than a tool. It’s an opportunity to craft something imbued with energy, purpose, and creativity.
Gather. Learn. Create.
Workshops

Meet Lauren
Lauren Mae is a creatrix, teacher, witch, and seeker of the magickal in everyday life. A lifelong maker and eager learner, she carries a background in Fashion Design and Garment Construction - foundations that shaped her deep appreciation for form, texture, and the art of working by hand. Her love for basket weaving grew from a connection to the materials and the process itself. Willow quickly became her favorite material, cherished for its bend, earthy scent, and steady rhythm. Weaving and broomcraft opened the door to a slower, more grounded creative practice, one that fosters presence and a deeper connection to nature.Drawn to intention and ritual, Lauren infuses each creation with a layer of magick, allowing creativity and purpose to intertwine. Her craft extends to workshops, and community gatherings, where she fosters connection, inspiration, and joy in the act of making.

Seasonal Exchange & Connection
The Gathering Table
A community gathering rooted in nature’s rhythm - a celebration of the turning seasons - where each guest brings a thoughtful offering to share, creating a collective exchange of handmade and meaningful goods while coming together to build community and deepen friendships.
Gather. Create. Connect.
The Gathering Table
Held in alignment with the turning points of the year:Summer Solstice – June
Autumn Equinox – September
Winter Solstice – December
Spring Equinox – MarchHow It Works- Each guest brings one type of item, with enough for every attendee, individually packaged - each gathering is kept to 13 participants. Offerings are inspired by the season and can be handmade, homegrown, or thoughtfully chosen.- The monetary value does not matter, bring what feels aligned and comfortable for you, using your creativity and intuition to choose what you wish to share. Duplicates are welcome, as no two things are ever truly the same; each carries the unique intention and frequency of the maker or giver.- Upon arrival, items are displayed together, creating a shared seasonal table.- Each gathering also includes a creative space to make something inspired by the season, such as a flower crown, simmer pot kits, or another seasonal creation.- Light nourishment and seasonal refreshments will be served while you enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity to deepen connections within our growing community.- We’ll gather around the table and each guest takes a turn to introduce their offering - what it is, why they chose it, and any story behind it. After all shares are complete, everyone is invited to select one of each and leave with a collection of goods to carry us into the weeks ahead, celebrating and honouring the turning of the season.- Please note, participation is by request, to honour the intimacy of this circle and ensure a meaningful, safe gathering for all.For inspriration, examples and ideas of items to bring, click below.

The Gathering Table
What It's About
This is more than an exchange, it is a practice in showing up.Contributing something of yourself, receiving with gratitude, marking the passage of the seasons together, and slowly weaving connection through consistency. If you’re longing for deeper community and a way to mark the changing seasons, this is a gentle, intentional way to begin - simple, intentional, shared.Cost & Energetic Exchange
There is no cost to attend The Gathering Table seasonal circles, as I open my home to hold this space for community, connection, and shared experience. The monetary value of your items does not matter - bring what feels aligned and comfortable for you, guided by your creativity and intuition. The cost of what you offer is entirely your own choice; this is not about equal exchange in monetary worth, but about intention, presence, and the meaning behind what you choose to share.Commitment & Cancellations
Please ensure you are fully commited to attend before requesting to reserve your spot, as space is limited and each guest prepares an offering for everyone in the group.Of course, unexpected circumstances and illness can arise. If you are no longer able to attend, please reach out as soon as possible. We can make arrangements for your item to still be included in the gathering, and your collection of goods will be gathered for you to receive at a later time.

Caring for your Broom
A broom is more than a mundane tool, it carries intention and energy. Treat it with care, and it will serve you faithfully for years to come.Storage: Whenever possible, hang your broom with the bristles facing downward. If hanging isn’t an option, stand it upright on its handle with bristles pointed up.Dust and refresh: After sweeping, give your broom a gentle shake to release dirt and debris. For a deeper clean, wipe the bristles with a slightly damp cloth, or use a soft toothbrush to reach between them. Always let it fully dry before storing.Maintaining shape: Over time, bristle ends may become ragged. Lightly trim them with scissors to refresh the shape and extend your broom’s life.A gentle reminder: Like your willow baskets, your broom responds to care and intention. Handle it with respect, and it will continue to sweep away the old, making space for the new.
the old ways whisper
Broom Myth & Magick
Brooms have long been more than simple tools. They are vessels of story, spirit, and ceremony. Across time and culture, they’ve carried the sweep of hearth and home, the crossing of thresholds, and the quiet power of intention. Every bristle and woven handle carries whispers of the old ways, a reminder that the everyday act of sweeping is also a ritual, a small magick woven into daily life.Brooms have long been symbols of luck, protection, and positive energy. Traditionally, placing a broom near the main entrance, either bristles up or hung over the door, wards off unwanted guests, evil spirits, and negative influences. Some old ways caution against lending or borrowing brooms, as they can transfer energies or luck between households. Likewise, never keep an old, broken broom, as it may attract negative energy. When it’s time for a new broom, dispose of the old one with honor and respect.Brooms are also thoughtful housewarming gifts, meant to sweep away negativity and bring a fresh start. And in folklore, if a broom falls across a doorway, it signals an upcoming journey. You should pick it up immediately and avoid stepping over it to honor the omen.

Tend. Honour. Preserve.
caring for your basket
Willow holds memory and magick, treat it with intention, and it will serve you well for years to come. For food use: Line baskets with a cloth or paper towel to catch oils, crumbs, or spills. This helps keep your weave happy and your harvest fresh.Dust and refresh: Gently remove dust with a soft, dry cloth, or let a gentle breeze and a touch of air (canned air works nicely) carry it away.Heat and light: Willow prefers the shade. Keep your pieces away from direct sunlight, fireplaces, stoves, or heat vents to avoid brittleness and fading.Washing: If a deeper clean is needed, use lukewarm water and a mild soap. A handheld shower or gentle rinse will do.Drying: Pat dry with a soft towel, then let the basket breathe in a shaded, breezy spot. Avoid forcing it with heat.A gentle reminder: Like a broom, your willow responds to care and respect. Handle with intention, and it will continue to carry your offerings, your stories, and your everyday magick.
